Michael O'Callaghan Scholarship Applications Due April 15
High School Seniors and upcoming first-year college students who have worked with Evergreen are invited to apply for the Michael O'Callaghan College Scholarship. Michael O'Callaghan was an educator and long-time Evergreen volunteer. He was best known for his sound design skills but could occasionally be found on stage. Michael was an avid believer in education and was always willing to take a student, youth or adult, and share his knowledge. Upon his passing, it seemed only fitting that a scholarship fund be created in his honor.
The award is open to any high school senior or first-year college student who has participated in Evergreen over the years. Applications consist of a few essay questions and are judged by a panel of Evergreen board members and volunteers. Award amounts and number of awards vary from year to year. Applications are due April 15, 2024. Recipients are notified in May with funds dispersed in November. For questions, contact Gretchen Mattingly at gretchen@evergreenproductions.org.

KND Community Works Booking Events
Evergreen's newest Young Actor's program, the Kids Next Door Community Works Troupe is hard at work rehearsing short plays and skits but they need places to perform them. The Community Works Troupe takes theater out into the community. We are looking for events, meetings, groups, assisted living facilities, hospitals and other places where we can perform. We have shows that are appropriate for kids and families and some that older audiences will appreciate. Performances can range from 10-40 minutes. There's no cost to book a performance but donations are always appreciated. To book the KND Community Works Troupe contact Sherrill Revolinski at srevolinski1@gmail.com. For information about becoming a part of the Troupe, contact Tricia Adams at tricia@evergreenproductions.org.
