The Details:
Auditions will be held at Evergreen's old rehearsal space located at 1662 Morrow St, Green Bay. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the provided script. Actors are also asked to choose and prepare one of the pieces that can be downloaded below. Virtual auditions will not be accepted but a separate audition may be arranged. The Story:
On a dark and stormy night, Prince Charming brings together some of the wickedest villains and most dubious characters in the kingdom and locks them in a mansion. To get out, they must help the prince solve a mystery by guessing the name of a mischievous imp before midnight. But as the storm knocks out the power, the characters also begin to get knocked. Will there be anyone left to solve the riddle? This play features some of the most famous villains and "rotten apples" from your favorite fairy tales and a few guest appearances by some "good guys" too. Here's a chance for just about everyone to play the "bad guy" in a narrative outside of their original story. Young actors will have tons of fun developing their "rotten" character while gaining experience in playing up a mystery for the audience. The Characters:
Rumpelstiltskin: Mysterious imp; any gender Hagatha: Candy-loving witch who loves to bake; female Gingerbread: Cookie who's running for their life; any gender Froggie: Frog prince or princess with a few tricks up their sleeve; any gender Red: Tough little girl who wears a red riding hood; female Queen: Evil monarch and formerly the fairest in the land; female Stepmother: Cinderella's wicked taskmaster; female Pinocchio: Wooden child with a tendency to lie; any gender Jack: Beanstalk-climbing thief; male Prince: Charming host; male Goldilocks: Little girl who just keeps showing up; female Cinderella: Pumpkin-riding princess with a broken wheel; female Snow White: Sweet princess on the run from a huntsman; female Fairy Godmother: Magical being with all the answers; female Pea Princess: Just wants a cozy bed for the night; female Bricks: Little pig police officer; any gender Sticks: Little pig police officer; any gender Hay: Little pig police officer; any gender Additional ensemble members may be added at the director's discretion All auditions are held at Evergreen's old rehearsal space located at 1662 Morrow St, Green Bay |
