PLEASE NOTE: When filling out your audition form, please list any known conflicts. Conflicts, outside of the weeks of performances, will not exclude you from being cast. This information is needed to create rehearsal schedules.

The Details: Auditions will be held at Evergreen's new space, the former Keller Elementary, located at 1806 Bond St, Green Bay. Please use the link below to sign up for one 2-hour audition slots. Auditions will consist of several parts, listed below. Audition materials can also be found below. Please download and read over them prior to auditions. Please come prepared to sing a Christmas song such as Silent Night, Joy to the World, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, etc - NOT Happy Birthday.

Audition Process: The following steps can be done in any order.
- Introduce and talk about yourself to the directors (directors are looking at your diction, voice projection, and comfort on stage). Recite the emotions - downloadable below
- Practice your chosen dialogue/skit with a dew of the other cast members - downloadable below
- present your skit to the directors (directors are looking for believability of characterization, personality, and actions of the character)
- Sing for Miss April with a group and possibly a solo (if you are auditioning for one of the main characters). Miss April will be looking for how well you carry a tune, your range of notes you sing, your projection, and harmonization).
- Learn a small dance routine with Miss Evan in a small group. (Miss Evin will be looking at how well you move on stage and can you learn a routine)
- Memorize and present one nursery rhyme or monologue (directors are looking for expression, actions, and voice projection). Nursery rhymes are intended for youngest auditionees, monologues for older - both downloadable below

Rehearsals:
There will be an all cast & parent meeting on September 21; 5:15 - 7:00pm Music & choreography rehearsals will begin September 21; 5:15-7:00pm Blocking rehearsals will begin October 12; 5pm-7:00pm There will be one Saturday rehearsal on November 14; 10am-2pm There will be one online rehearsal on November 23; 5:00pm-7:00pm |

The Story:
The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world - so when they crash Sunday School and demand parts in the Christmas pageant, the whole town panics. There not supposed to be biting and cigar-smoking in Bethlehem, and while the kids have never even heard the Christmas story, they definitely have rewrites! Soon, everyone is calling for reluctant director Grace Bradley to cancel the whole thing. It's up to the Bradleys and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this bouyant musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.
