Summer Classes & Workshops
$25 for 1 class or register for 2 or more classes and pay a total of just $50. Max of $100 per family.
Students are also encouraged to audition for the summer production. This year's summer production will be The Enchanted Bookshop Musical. Registration in a class is not necessary to audition for the production. Rehearsals will take place in the evenings after classes. Information about auditioning for the summer production can be found by clicking on Auditions in the menu.
Parents are welcome to drop off their students or stay and watch classes. Prior to classes beginning, parents will be emailed information about proper attire, food, and other need-to-know items. beginning.
- Classes will run for one week each Monday - Thursday, June 12 - 29, 2023.
- Classes will run from 4:30 p.m. - 5:15pm and 5:30pm - 7:00pm
- Young actors will have the opportunity to take up to six classes.
- Classes are divided by grade. Students should register for classes based on the grade they will have just completed as of June 12, 2023.
- Cost for each class is $25 with a maximum of $50 per student or $100 per family for all three weeks.
- Scholarships are available. Evergreen wants to make sure that cost never keeps a student from signing up for classes. If the cost will create a financial burden, you mail email Tammy Brunette at tammy@evergreenproductions.org for more information about scholarships. All scholarship recipient information is kept confidential.
- You will receive a confirmation email upon registering.
- We will email you an invoice with instructions to pay online or mail in your payment.
- Registration is limited. If a class is full, you may be added to a waitlist, by sending an email to Sherrill Revolinski.

To register for classes, click on the SHOP button with the class you want to register for. On the class page, click add to cart. Once you have added all of the classes you want to register for to your cart, click on the shopping bag to check out. Payment can not be made online. Refer to the information above on how to make your payment.
If you are registering more than one student, please register each students classes in one transaction and include the student's name and age in the NOTES TO SELLER section of the checkout.
June 12 - 15
Stage Combat I - 2nd - 5th grades
June 12 -15, 4:30 - 5:15
Students will get to know the mechanics of their body and how to use it effectively and safely onstage. Sessions will include safe combat techniques such as reacting to a punch and bracing a fall.
Theater Games II - 5th grade +
June 12 - 15, 4:30 - 5:15
Stretch your creativity and improve your team building skills by spending the afternoon playing theater games with friends.
Imaginary Play - PreK - 1st grade
June 12 - 15, 4:30 - 5:15
Theater for non-readers or early stage readers. Students will participate in call and response activities, act out fairy tales, puppetry, and other activities designed to encourage imagination.
Acting I - 2nd - 4th grades
June 12 - 15; 5:30 - 7:00
Learn some of the basics of acting from projection to stage directions and character development. Intended for first-timers and those with only a couple of years of experience.
Voice II - 5th - 6th grades
June 12 - 15, 5:30 - 7:00
Students will work on improving their tone, pitch, and intonation.
June 19 - 22
Dance I - Kindergarten - 3rd grade

Learn the basics of dance for the stage.

Learn to think on your feet and work as a team while playing games and participating in improv exercises. Fun and hilarity are sure to be the topics of the day.

In this class for more experienced actors, students will participate in acting games and activities designed to help them dive deeper into a character. Students will work in groups on scenes.
Voice III - 7th grade +

Work on techniques to improve your pitch, tone, and intonation.
Prop Making I - Kindergarten - 3rd grade

Love arts and crafts? Then why not try your hand at prop making. Learn how to make something out of nothing. Use your imagination to turn recyclables into props that can be used on stage. Paint & age modern items to look old or from the future. See what you can create with a little glue, paint, and your imagination.
June 26 - 29
Improv I - 2nd - 5th grades

Learn to think on your feet and work as a team while playing games and participating in improv exercises. Fun and hilarity are sure to be the topics of the day.
Acting III - 7th grade +
June 26 - 29, 5:30 - 7:00
In this class for more experienced actors, students will participate in acting games and activities designed to help them dive deeper into a character. Students will work on acting with one’s whole self. Students will work on fully committing to a role, understanding and interpreting the script, and developing a character’s physical and vocal aspects. Students will work in groups on scenes.
Prop Making II - 4th grade +
