Michael O'Callaghan College Scholarship
Named for educator and long-time Evergreen volunteer, the Michael O'Callaghan College Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and first-year college freshmen. As an Evergreen volunteer, Michael O'Callaghan performed onstage, was a master Sound Designer, and served as the Board President. Michael was also a big believer and supporter in education. It seemed only appropriate, upon Michael's passing that the Evergreen College Scholarship be named after him.

To be eligible for the scholarships, students must be a graduating high school senior or a first-time college freshman. Students must also have participated in Evergreen productions, on stage or back stage, or served as an Evergreen volunteer.

Applications will be judged upon the content of their essay. Judging will be done by a panel of Evergreen Board members and volunteers. The number of scholarships given and the amount of each award will vary depending on the number of applications received and the funds available. Scholarship winners will be announced in May and funds will be awarded in November.
