Four Ways Your Gift Builds Something Extraordinary

For more than forty years, Evergreen Community Theater has been a place where creativity, confidence, and community take center stage. Today, Evergreen is stepping boldly into its next chapter — and your support ensures that this future is strong, safe, and full of possibility.
Your donation directly supports four essential areas, each critical to fully opening the Bond Street building and sustaining Evergreen’s mission for generations.
1. Step Forward Campaign — Transforming the Performance Space
Evergreen’s new home at 1806 Bond Street is filled with potential, and the Step Forward Campaign is turning that potential into reality. Funds support the transformation of the former school gymnasium into a warm, accessible, professional performance venue where families, students, seniors, and neighbors can gather with pride.
Your gift helps create:
  • Modern audience seating
  • Updated lighting and sound infrastructure
  • A flexible stage environment
  • A welcoming space worthy of the stories told within it
This campaign is the heart of Evergreen’s next 40 years — and every contribution moves us closer to opening night.
2. Walk of Fame Stars — Celebrating Donors Who Step Forward
Donors giving $1,000 or more become part of Evergreen’s All‑Star Walk of Fame, a constellation of supporters displayed in the theatre lobby. Each star is a permanent symbol of generosity, community, and belief in Evergreen’s mission.
Star levels include:
  • Star Performer — $1,000 (8"x8")
  • Artistic Director — $2,500 (12"x12")
  • Executive Producer — $5,000 (14"x14")
  • Founder’s Circle — $10,000+ (16"x16")
Every star honors a donor, family, business, or loved one — a lasting tribute to those who help Evergreen shine.
3. Sprinkler Installation — The Final Step to Open the Bond Street Building Safely
As renovations progressed, Evergreen encountered an unexpected but essential requirement: a full sprinkler system throughout the Bond Street building. This upgrade is necessary to make the building fire safe, fully compliant, and ready for public use.
The cost — approaching $250,000 — is significant for a volunteer‑driven nonprofit. But completing this final step unlocks everything:
  • Public performances
  • Youth programs
  • Nonprofit partnerships
  • Community events
  • A safe, welcoming home for all
Your support ensures Evergreen can open its doors with confidence and care.
4. General Operating Fund — Keeping Evergreen Strong Every Day
Behind every rehearsal, every class, and every performance are the everyday essentials that keep Evergreen running. The General Operating Fund supports the practical, mission‑critical needs that allow Evergreen to remain accessible and affordable for all.
Your gift helps cover:
  • Utilities and building maintenance
  • Program supplies and materials
  • Insurance and safety requirements
  • Cleaning, staffing, and administrative support
  • Free participation for all youth performers
These are the quiet costs that make the magic possible — and your support keeps Evergreen’s mission alive year‑round.
