Summer Class Descriptions & Registration
Summer production audition information
Each summer, Young Actors and theater techies of almost all ages have the opportunity to take classes from some of our seasoned volunteers and professionals. This year, there will be three weeks of classes with two class options each week. Classes will range from acting and improv to stage combat and voice and will take place at the Evergreen rehearsal space. The cost is just $25 for one class or $50 for two+ classes with a maximum cost of $50 per individual or $100 per family. Which means, you can have three siblings taking two classes each for three weeks and your total cost will only be $100. Or one student take two classes each week for three weeks and the total cost will only be $50. Scholarships are also available.

Class size is very limited so register early.

In addition to classes, each summer, Evergreen puts on a Young Actors production. This year's production will be The Enchanted Bookshop Musical. Auditions will be held June 14 & 15 at 7:15 at the Evergreen rehearsal space. The summer production and summer program are separate so young actors may participate in both or just one. There is no -cost to participate in the production.

Recipients can be attending any college or university and pursuing any degree.

The number of scholarships awarded and the scholarship amounts will vary each year depending on the available funding.

It's Dad's turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative: a prince with a snoring problem spices up The Princess and The Pea, The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur, and Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
