Miracle on 34th Street

When filling out your audition application, please list any known conflicts. Conflicts, outside of the weeks of performances, will not exclude you from casting. Having this information just helps us create rehearsal schedules.
Performances will be December 8,9,14,15 & 16 at 7pm and December 10 & 17 at 2pm. Performances will take place at the Webb Theatre on the campus of St. Norbert College. Rehearsals will begin Monday, October 23 at 6:30 and run Mondays - Thursday, 6:30-8:30. Some Saturday, 10am-2pm rehearsals will also be scheduled. Tech rehearsals will begin Sunday, December 3 and run through Thursday, December 7 with times to be determined later.

Callbacks: October 18 6:30-8:30

Details: Auditions will be held October 16 & 17. Young actor auditions will be 5-6:30, adult auditions will be held 6:30-8:30. Young actors auditioning for the role of Susan will be asked to stay until 7:30.

Those auditioning should download the audition materials and dialogue which can be found on this page. Auditions will consist of a prepared piece (found in the audition materials), participation in an acting exercise and some singing for those auditioning for carolers.

About the Show:

Kris Kringle gets a job working as Santa for Macy's. He has the “audacity” to refer parents elsewhere to find the exact toy their child wants. Macy's vocational counselor plots to have Kris committed to Bellevue Psychiatric and he ends up in a court competency hearing. At stake is one little girl's belief in Santa.
